Rupert Lowe, Former Reform MP, Unveils New Political Party
Rupert Lowe, a former member of Reform UK, has established Restore Britain.
A new political entity has been established by a former Reform UK lawmaker, who currently serves as an independent member.

On Friday evening, Rupert Lowe, the representative for Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, officially launched Restore Britain, characterizing it as a national political organization.
Initially, Restore Britain was conceived as a political movement by Lowe after his suspension from Reform UK in March of the previous year.
The organization is anticipated to function as a broader political party, collaborating with local parties as affiliate partners.
Lowe's suspension from Reform UK stemmed from allegations that he had made threats of physical harm against the party's then-chairman, Zia Yusuf.
However, the Crown Prosecution Service ultimately determined that there was insufficient evidence to support a conviction.
Lowe, a businessman and farmer who previously served as the chairman of Southampton FC, is expected to seek re-election in the Great Yarmouth constituency, this time with the support of Great Yarmouth First, a local party that will be affiliated with Restore Britain.
Notable Conservative figures, including Susan Hall and Sir Gavin Williamson, had been involved with Restore Britain's advisory board during its initial phase as a political movement.
Following Restore Britain's transition to a political party, Sir Gavin Williamson indicated to the Press Association that he would likely discontinue his involvement with the organization.
Hall, who leads the Conservative party in the London Assembly, is also expected to step down from Restore Britain's advisory board.
According to Andrew Sinclair, the BBC's East of England political editor, Lowe has a reputation for being an unconventional politician.
Sinclair noted that Lowe's tendency to work independently was a factor in his departure from Reform UK, stating, "He's not known for being very collaborative."
Lowe believes that there is a significant disconnect between mainstream politicians and the general public, citing his own constituency in Great Yarmouth as evidence to support this claim.
Although there have been no recent elections in the area, Sinclair observed that Lowe appears to maintain a significant level of local support, as suggested by private polling data from both Labour and his own associates.
Lowe is convinced that there is room for another right-leaning party that values independence and is unafraid to challenge the status quo.
Having initially hoped that his local party, Great Yarmouth First, would make an impact in this year's local elections, Lowe will now focus on building national support for Restore Britain.
